Live music adds the finishing touch
to your Ceremony and Reception. We hope this plan gives you an insight
into the versatile and flexible roles of our musicians. |

|
| |
The Ceremony |
| |
|
| |
Setting the scene - Arrival of the
guests |
| |
Already at this early stage in your
celebration the atmosphere will be charged with excited expectation.
A small and intimate group of musicians playing soothing music similar
to Salut d’Amour by Elgar or Bach’s Air on a G string
while guests start finding their seats will compose and complement
the mood. |
| |
|
| |
The magic moment – Entrance
of the bride |
| |
The most anticipated moment in the
day is the bride’s first appearance. Trust the musicians to
announce your arrival and accompany you as you walk down the aisle
to a joyful musical performance. Favorites include the triumphal wedding
marches by Wagner and Mendelssohn or Handel’s enraptured Arrival
of the Queen of Sheba. |
| |
|
| |
Prelude to a kiss – Musical
dedications |
| |
Leading up to the pledging of the vows,
the couple often wish to enhance the moment by listening to a performance
of a piece of music that means something special to them. Our skilled
and talented musicians can arrange and perform a piece of your choosing.
|
| |
|
| |
|
| |
The final confirmation – Signing
the register |
| |
During the concluding stage of the
ceremony, guests can take pleasure in listening to the timeless Pachelbel’s
Canon or the ebullient Eine Kleine Nachtmusik by Mozart while the
couple and witnesses sign the register and photographs are taken at
the table. We adjust the timing of our performance to be beautifully
coordinated with the proceedings. |
| |
|
| |
Walking towards the future –
Exit of the bride and groom |
| |
The ceremony is over and the radiant
couple walks down the aisle arm in arm to jubilant and glorious harmony
such as the Hornpipe from Handel’s Water Music or Autumn from
Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. |
| |
|
| |
The Reception |
| |
|
| |
The fun starts here – Drinks
Reception |
| |
After the ceremony, the newlyweds and
family members are often engaged in photo sessions. The musicians
can now move to a central area where drinks are served and guests
mingle. All our musicians have an extensive repertoire of lighter
musical numbers such as Summer Time and Autumn Leaves to keep your
guests entertained. |
| |
|
| |
The feast – Wedding Meal |
| |
A variety of easy listening pieces
and light classically flavored background music enhances and compliments
the enjoyment of the main meal in an unobtrusive and elegant style.
